WELCOME
The Somali Women and Children's Support Network is a multicultural, non-profit, community-based organization that provides a wide range of programs, services and supports to enable immigrant, refugee, newcomer, low-income families and their children as well as high-risk vulnerable youth, to gain leadership skills, employment training, language skills, and build social connections both within and beyond their community.
The organization tackles issues of access to “mainstream” services, encouraging an open dialogue. In doing so, the community's unique needs can be expressed, and important qualities and characteristics can be shared. Those who make use of such programs can come to interrelate with the larger community in a mutually supportive fashion. Our services reflect the diversity of the community as we strive to encourage mutual support and to build strong interrelationships. We invite you to browse through our website and learn more about the SWCSN.
